Refund policy
Returns & Store Credit
We accept return requests within 30 days of delivery. Approved returns are eligible for store credit only, unless otherwise required by law.
To be eligible for a return:

Items must be unused, unworn, and in original condition

Items must be returned in original packaging

Proof of purchase is required
Returns that do not meet these conditions will not be accepted.

Items sent back without prior authorization will be treated as unauthorized returns and will not be accepted.
Refunds
All of our dinnerware is made to order. As such, we do not offer cash refunds.
Approved returns may be eligible for store credit only, issued at our discretion after inspection of the returned item(s). Store credit has no expiration unless otherwise stated.
Refunds are issued only where required by applicable law.
Damages, Defects & Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must notify us within 1 week of delivery. We may request photos to assess the issue.
If a claim is approved, we will determine the appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement, repair, or store credit, at our discretion.
Exchanges
Exchanges require prior approval.
Customers are responsible for safely shipping items back to us at their own expense. Risk of loss or damage transfers to the customer upon shipment of the item back. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping method.
Once the original item is received and inspected, we will ship the replacement item accordingly.
Final Sale Items, Discounted Orders & Gift Cards
The following are final sale and are not eligible for cancellation, return, exchange, or refund:

At our sole discretion, we may approve an exchange for final sale or discounted items on a case-by-case basis. No cash refunds will be issued for these orders.
Refused Deliveries & Unauthorized Returns
If you intend to refuse delivery or return an item, you must contact us in advance at hello@lineageceramics.com and receive confirmation from our team before doing so.
Orders refused upon delivery or returned without prior authorization may not be eligible for a refund. If such items are returned to our warehouse without authorization or confirmation, we may be unable to identify the return or link it to the original order. In such cases, eligibility for store credit may be delayed or denied.
Authorized returns may be eligible for store credit only, subject to inspection and compliance with our policies.
European Union Customers
If your order is shipped to the European Union, you may have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of delivery, in accordance with EU consumer protection laws. Any refund issued under this provision will comply strictly with applicable legal requirements. Made-to-order exemptions may apply.
Policy Interpretation
This policy applies to all purchases unless otherwise required by law. Lineage Ceramics reserves the right to interpret and apply this policy at its sole discretion, in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
